Ode
My two hands
As the sun rises, day by day,
my plants grow tall and bright,
The chilies, tomatoes, and banana peppers,Â
all growing day-by-day my hand,
like a kangaroo guarding her jack,
my hard work will soon sustain,
the people, myself, my pets,
I will soon depend on my own two hands.

Littering
We may live in a world of what we think is healthy,
we only want to see the happy side,
but it's different on the other side,
the other side, dirty, side.
The side where our animals and grass are dying,
the other polluted air and globe side,
the other side where diseases are flying,
the other we don't want to look at.
But as a whole we can change for the better,
maybe the six pack rings you throw away can harm the
the penguin's family
so together, let's make a change,
not only for us, but for our future,
for our animals, for our health, for our globe.
Let us clean the other side.

Spills
The Roots
1958 a load of oil was spilled on shore,
lots happened, oh for sure!
The thick black smelly oil running in water,
affecting our animals just like our otters.
affecting our health and our future,
In 1958, a load of oil and the ocean was fueled,
not just that date or other oil spills,
but the dumping trash the ocean spits,
the trash of our doing.

Trees
Listen to the rustle up in the trees,
chirping chirping within the green,
leaves falling from above,
All the squirrels and chipmunks falling in love,
monkeys and apes swinging around,
lay back on the trunk and read when downed,
home to the bees, ants, and various plants,
the houses, the building, the parks built,
oh don't you just feel the guilt?
Of the trees being down,,
It's being turned downed and thrown all around,
One day you'll soon see how important they are,
and then only soon you'll start to realize,
how important they truly are?
